We are delighted now to be open and welcoming guests through our doors once again. Our bookings office is now open 9am-6pm Monday - Saturday. You can call us on (01202) 764776 or book online.

Below are the coronavirus precautions we are taking and these are regularly reviewed in line with government advice and restrictions. May God’s peace and joy be your strength at this challenging time.

Following the easing of restrictions on 19th July our overriding focus is on ensuring that all guests show consideration for each other and understanding that many will still feel concern at coming away. Although we are not now requiring guests or staff to wear face coverings in public areas we are asking that all guests show respect for those who wish to. All team members will have a face mask with them and will gladly wear it should you feel more comfortable them doing so. Breakfast will be buffet style but sanitiser stations and gloves will be available to prevent infection. Food will be covered.

We recognise that you will want to know we are doing everything we can to keep our guests and staff team safe. A range of measures remain in place as follows and you can rest assured that your safety is our highest priority.

  • Enhanced cleaning regimes in public areas and bedrooms
  • Temperature checks on arrival
  • Sanitiser stations at entrances and throughout the building
  • Reduced numbers of rooms being let out unless part of same household or group
  • Revised cancellation terms so if people are unable to come due to government restrictions they can have a refund or carry over payments.

As part of booking terms and conditions we ask guests to agree to:

  • abide by all government guidelines & rules in relation to Covid-19
  • abide by all Covid-19 related measures that The Greenhouse puts in place to protect staff and guests. 
  • inform us if they have any Covid-19 symptoms prior to their stay and understand in line with government guidelines they will then need to self-isolate and/or receive a negative Covid-19 test before coming to The Greenhouse. If they are part of a household where someone else has symptoms or they have been advised to self-isolate through the track and trace system, they will need to self-isolate/get tested in line with government guidelines. 
  • abide by isolation measures should you develop symptoms during your stay at The Greenhouse. 
  • a temperature check on arrival. 
  • their contact details being given to the government’s track and trace team as necessary and us retaining their contact details for a minimum of 21 days. (We will continue to operate track & trace beyond 16 August).
  • contacting us should they develop Covid-19 symptoms within 10 days of departure.
  • to bring your own Bibles and pens.

We trust that these measures reassure you ahead of your stay with us. If you have any questions you are very welcome to contact myself or one of the team.

We look forward to welcoming you to our ‘home from home’.
