Precautionary measures we are putting in place

We recognise that many people will be coming away for the first time since the start of the pandemic and will want to know that we are doing everything we can to keep our guests and staff team safe. You can rest assured that your safety is our highest priority.

The following measures will be in place and we will be continually reviewing our procedures to ensure we are working in line with government guidelines:

  • Enhanced cleaning regimes in public areas and bedrooms
  • Temperature checks on arrival
  • Sanitiser stations at entrances and throughout the building
  • Social distancing measures in place
  • One guest on each dining room table unless you are part of the same 'bubble' or household
  • Reduced numbers of rooms being let out unless part of same household or social ‘bubble’
  • No day events to keep overall guest numbers on site at a safe level
  • Revised arrangements for food and beverage service (i.e. no self-service)
  • Revised cancellation terms so if people are unable to come due to government restrictions they can have a refund or carry over payments.

As part of booking terms and conditions we ask guests to agree to:

  • abide by all government guidelines & rules in relation to Covid-19
  • Face coverings to be worn in all public areas except when seated in the dining room or seated consuming drinks  in the lounges.
  • abide by all Covid-19 related measures that The Greenhouse puts in place to protect staff and guests including wearing PPE where appropriate 
  • inform us if they have any Covid-19 symptoms prior to their stay and understand in line with government guidelines they will then need to self-isolate and not come to The Greenhouse. If they are part of a household where someone else has symptoms or they have been advised to self-isolate through the track and trace system, they will need to self-isolate for 10 days before coming to The Greenhouse. 
  • abide by isolation measures should you develop symptoms during your stay at The Greenhouse. 
  • a temperature check on arrival. 
  • their contact details being given to the government’s track and trace team as necessary and us retaining their contact details for a minimum of 21 days.
  • contacting us should they develop Covid-19 symptoms within 10 days of departure.
  • to bring your own Bibles and pens.

We trust that these measures reassure you ahead of your stay with us. If you have any questions you are very welcome to contact myself or one of the team.

We look forward to welcoming you to our ‘home from home’.
